Christmas 2011

Christmas was BUSY for us this year. Friday night we went to my parents house for Christmas with my Dad's family, then Saturday was Christmas Eve with the big dinner at my Gramma's, then Christmas Day we did our thing in the morning, had Mike's sister over at noon, and by 6 we were at my parents again to celebrate with them and my brother. Phew!! Tiring but so glad we have so much family to be with!!

The kids got lots of good stuff this year and it's always great to see their excitement. It was also a blessing to be having this Christmas in our own home! Last year I never would have guessed that we'd be here a year later. I'm so thankful for all that God has blessed us with this year!!

Isaac's Admirers

Isaac seems to be getting a collection of pictures from girls at school. He's a ladies man ;o)

So much I want to catch up on but so little time, as always.....I'll start with some pics I uploaded a few weeks ago for the purpose of blogging.

Lyssa boo had pneumonia in late November. I thought her breathing sounded strange in the morning so off we went to the ER. She got her first x-ray and she was dehydrated so they kept her for a couple of hours to start an IV fluid drip, then gave her a round of antibiotics in the IV too. She was a trooper, but I think she just felt so tired and weak that she just couldn't protest too much :o( But I'm happy to say that she was feeling much better after a couple of days and returned to her rambunctious little self!
